Artemisa and Industriales Secure Spots in Semifinals and Upcoming Elite League
With their respective victories today, the Artemisa Hunters and the Havana Industriales secured their tickets to the semifinal phase of the 64th National Baseball Series.

With this solid performance, both teams also guaranteed their spots in the upcoming IV Elite League of Cuban Baseball.

Artemisa Closes Out Series Against Holguín
At their 26 de Julio Stadium, Artemisa completed the task begun on Monday when they held a 2x0 lead in the fourth inning before the game was called due to rain. They finally closed with a score of 6x4.

Holguín battled and managed to tie the game (2-2) with solo runs in the sixth and seventh innings.

But the Hunters unleashed three lethal "strikes" late in the seventh inning, with just two hits, including one from the game's best hitter, Osmel Solano, who went 4-3 with three RBIs.

For Artemisa, who stranded 10 runners on base, reliever Israel Sánchez earned his second win of the campaign, despite allowing four hits and two earned runs in just one and two-thirds innings. It was save number 14 for leader José Ángel García.

Industriales Prevail with Ninth-Inning Home Run
Meanwhile, visiting the Nelson Fernández park, Industriales defeated the Mayabeque Hurricanes 5x3 thanks to a decisive home run by their slugger and cleanup hitter Yasmani Tomás in the ninth inning against reliever Marlon Vega, when the scoreboard was tied (3x3).

Tomás went 5-4 in the game and appears to be regaining the excellent sporting form he showed at the end of 2025 with the Cañeros de los Mochis in the Mexican Professional League.

Reliever Rafael Orlando Perdomo earned his third win of the four secured by manager Guillermo Carmona's squad.

He pitched 3.2 scoreless innings, and in this playoff, the Mayabeque lineup has managed only one extra-base hit against him in 9.2 innings of work.

Semifinal Field Taking Shape
Artemisa and Industriales will join Matanzas in the semifinals. The fourth invitee will emerge from the matchup that resumes this Wednesday at the Julio Antonio Mella Stadium, where the home team and defending champion Las Tunas trails 2-3 against the surprising Villa Clara squad.
