Kempinski Sets Sights on Cuba

Kempinski Hotels and Grupo de Turismo Gaviota have entered a partnership to launch the hotel company’s first 5-Star luxury resort in Cuba this year. Located east of Havana in Cayo Guillermo, the Cayo Guillermo Resort Kempinski will draw inspiration from Ernest Hemingway’s legacy and love for the Cayo. The forthcoming resort will join Kempinski’s maiden outpost in Cuba—the Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana.

Included among the resort’s 245 guestrooms and suites will be six, 800-square-foot overwater villas. The 2,150-square-foot overwater presidential suite will be equipped with a private pool. In addition to a children’s club, fitness center, tennis court, lobby bar, and cigar bar, spa and yoga facilities will be featured onsite alongside extensive pool landscapes and F&B options.
