Workshop on smart and sustainable cities winds up in Cuba

Havana, Jun 16 (Prensa Latina) The Workshop on Smart and Sustainable Cities concludes in Cuba on Friday, where public-private articulation initiatives promoting this digital agenda section will be under discussion.
The electromobility service platforms for the public charging ecosystem, the industrial control system for the mini-industry, and e-commerce innovation, are among other issues.
On Thursday, the guidelines to follow to improve the quality of life of urban populations were analyzed at the headquarters of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Havana.
The speakers agreed that a Smart City uses communication and information technologies to improve the systems that make up the urban environment.
The UNDP, the Union of Cuban IT Technicians, and the Ministry of Communications have been supporting the workshop.
