Venezuela Denounces Extremist Plot to Plant Explosives at US Embassy
especiales

The Government of Venezuela denounced this Sunday that right-wing extremists are planning to plant explosives at the United States Embassy in Caracas, in what it described as a potential false flag operation.
Jorge Rodríguez, the head of Venezuela's Peace Dialogue processes, reported in a message published on his Telegram channel that Caracas has warned the administration led by President Donald Trump about what he termed "a grave threat."
"In my capacity as head of dialogue and peace for Venezuela, I want to announce that through three distinct channels we have warned the US Government of a grave threat, whereby through a false flag operation prepared by local extremist right-wing sectors, there is an attempt to place lethal explosives in the US Embassy in Venezuela," stated Rodríguez, who is also the president of the National Assembly.
He added that "we have also warned a European embassy of these events so that it may communicate the seriousness of this information to US diplomatic personnel."
He mentioned that, simultaneously, "we have reinforced security measures around said diplomatic headquarters, which our government respects and protects."
