US Network of solidarity with Cuba will integrate brigade on May 1st

The National Network of Solidarity with Cuba (NNOC), a coalition that comprises over 50 organizations in favor of lifting the US blockade, will integrate the 16th International Brigade on May 1st.

As announced by the NNOC on Twitter, every year they work with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) to lead the US delegation in the said group.

The brigades “are an important part of our fight against the illegal and inhuman US blockade of more than 60 years” against Cuba, the Network said in its statement.

The NNOC also works to remove Cuba from the list of “State Sponsors of Terrorism” maintained by President Joe Biden and calls for an end to Washington’s hostility against the Island.

According to the announcement made by the ICAP, as is traditional, the brigade members will have the opportunity to witness the parade of the International Workers’ Day in the Revolution Square in Havana.

Among other activities they will also attend the International Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba; visit places of historical, economic, cultural and social interest, and also carry out voluntary work and exchanges with representatives of different organizations of Cuban society.

Friends of Cuba will carry out a program of activities during their stay in Cuba, from April 23rd to May 7th, which, includes the provinces of Artemisa, Villa Clara,d Sancti Spíritus, and Havana.
