Moscow, May 25 (Prensa Latina) Kiev's statements that "Putin is the number one target" are terrorism statements, consequently, the special military operation is more than justified, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.

In an interview for Rossiya 1, “Moscow-Kremlin-Putin” program, on Thursday, Peskov stated that the Ukrainian regime openly talks about its terrorist desires.

According to the presidential spokesman, the Russian president’s security is reliably guaranteed. “Believe me, our security services know their job and what they are doing,” he assured.

Earlier, Vadym Skibitsky, deputy head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, told German newspaper Die Welt the existence of a list of Russian citizens whom Kiev plans to eliminate, and Russian President Vladimir Putin is “the first” in it. In early May, the Kremlin was attacked by Ukrainian drones but Russian radar warfare systems dismantled them.
