"I informed her that we would open the airspace; very soon citizens will be able to travel to Venezuela safely, and some Venezuelans who wish to return will be able to do so," declared Trump, who highlighted the strengthening of diplomatic ties between both administrations.

The US head of state described the relationship with Venezuela's current leadership as "very solid," thanking his counterpart's willingness to reach this agreement, which will normalize commercial air transit in the region.
