Spanish baritone performs Lecuona songs in Cuba

The concert "Homage to Lecuona" will be presented by Spanish baritone Luis Alberto Fernandez Llaneza in this capital who will be accompanied on the piano by maestro Nelson Camacho. 
 
The Ignacio Cervantes Hall of the Palacio de los Matrimonios on Paseo del Prado, in Old Havana, will be dressed in luxury for the recital, which will take place at 6:00 p.m. local time.

The Spanish performer, who has given concerts in the five continents successfully, taking the music of his country around the world, returns to Cuba, as he does every year, on this date, he said. I have been coming to “this island that gives me so many emotions” for more than 25 years.

An island where I have so many friends whom I love, where some people live whom I consider my family and my brothers in life. A place where I have taught, sung, traveled and where I continue to surprise myself walking through the streets of Havana or arriving at Cape San Antonio, traveling from East to West, or feeling the breeze of the Malecón on my face, he said.
