Moscow, Jul 13 (Prensa Latina) Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova drew attention on the lack of reaction by US authorities to reports about the country's alleged involvement in the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse.

'Well, where are the sanctions, the G-7 statements, the hysteria by US human rights activists?,' the diplomat wrote on her Telegram channel, about the possible involvement of the private military company CTU in the assassination.

She recalled that a US interdepartmental delegation flew to Haiti to investigate the situation around US contractor PMC, whose employees are accused of participating in the attack in which the Haitian president was assassinated.

Zakharova warned about a news released by US media on Tuesday, according to which several of the men involved in Moïse's assassination previously worked as US law enforcement informants.

The Haitian president was killed with at least 12 shots at his home in Petion Ville, located in the Pelerin hills, and his wife, Martine Ethienne, was seriously injured during the attack.
