Putin congratulates Diaz-Canel on 63rd anniversary of the Revolution

Moscow, Dec 30 (Prensa Latina) Russian President Vladimir Putin today congratulated his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel on the 63rd anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution on the island.

In his message, the Russian president extended his greetings to Army General Raul Castro and the people of the Caribbean nation, wishing them happy holidays and prosperity for 2022.

Putin highlighted the development of Russian-Cuban relations in the spirit of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Moscow and Havana are expanding the implementation of bilateral projects, described by the Russian dignitary as promising, in the commercial, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres.

The head of state of the Eurasian country also expressed his willingness to continue working together on current issues of the bilateral and international agenda for the benefit of the two peoples.

The ties between Russia and Cuba are also endorsed in the participation of the Antillean nation as an observer of the Eurasian Economic Union, with which an agreement of 34 actions was recently signed.
