HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 14 (ACN) The work agenda of the second day of the Tenth Ordinary Session of the National Assembly of People's Power corresponding to its Ninth Legislature, which was held at the Palace of Conventions, began with the analysis of measures to combat corruption, illegalities and social indiscipline based on a report presented by Manuel Marrero Cruz, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and Prime Minister of the Republic.

In this regard, the premier commented on Twitter that the General Directives to confront crime, corruption, illegalities and social indisciplines, should be implemented in the agencies, national entities and territorial governments, and reinforce the mechanisms and tools that already exist for this combat

He shared in this social network that, in response to the demands of the people, the implementation of such measures must be a permanent and systematic task.

Likewise, he called for the population to raise the rejection and denunciation of such phenomena.

"The implementation of these measures, as demanded by our people, must be a permanent, sustainable, and systemic task, and that the rejection and denunciation of these negative phenomena by all categories of personnel and citizens must be increased."

Strengthening the prevention and confrontation of these illegalities will contribute to the achievement of the economic and social development goals to which we aspire as a society, he said.

"Strengthening the prevention and confrontation of crime, corruption, illegalities and social indiscipline will contribute to achieving the goals of economic and social development and the prosperity to which we aspire, in an environment of order, discipline and exigency."
