President Diaz-Canel assesses recovery in Cuban central province

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Friday assessed the recovery actions taken in this central province after pelting rains that hit the territory.

 Alongside with the Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party (PCC) Roberto Morales, the Cuban leader held a meeting with local authorities of the most affected sectors, in which he ordered that families in vulnerable situations must be top-priority.

Diaz-Canel pointed out that producing construction materials should be increased based on the territory’s potentiality, and urged to update the disaster reduction plans.
