Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel described Tuesday's meeting with representatives of religious institutions and fraternal associations as a significant contribution and insisted on the need to systematize such exchanges.

During the dialogue in Havana, the President assured that these are people 'who defend improvement from the spiritual point of view, which is a path to cultivate to harvest values.'

According to a Cuban television report, the meeting was an opportunity to discuss the country's problems and socialize work experiences.

Participants ratified their support for the Revolution and their willingness to develop actions for peace and unity.

The representatives spoke of the importance of building a better society, more inclusive, and where solidarity and love prevail.

In this sense, they reaffirmed their vocation of service to the people through the different projects they carry out to improve the lives in the communities and help the most vulnerable.

Participants insisted on the urgency of incorporating the new generations in the different processes with their fresh and renovating ideas.

'Religions in Cuba live in peace. They have no differences, and they are capable of assimilating a very broad cosmovision', they acknowledged.

They also reiterated their rejection of any manifestation of violence and external interference at a time when the Caribbean nation is the target of an unconventional war instigated and financed by the United States.

This meeting gave continuity to the cycle of meetings of the President of the Republic with different sectors of society to analyze the main difficulties and seek solutions collectively.
