Panama beats Cuba and is one win away from entering the U-20 World Cup

The four semi-finalists will advance to the 2023 Indonesia World Cup.
Panama’s U-20 team beat Cuba 0-1 on Saturday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Concacaf qualifying tournament for the Indonesia 2023 World Cup.
Carlos Rivera, in the 63rd minute, scored the solitary goal that now has those led by Ángel Sánchez one win away from qualifying for the World Cup.
After a first half in which the Cubans managed to impose their style, in the second half the arrivals of Carlos Gorday and Rivera gave freshness to the Isthmian team, which looked more for the rival goal.
Striker Leonel Tejada was one of those who most insisted on the complement, but he couldn’t hit the ball correctly.
In the quarterfinals, Panama will play against the winner of the duel between Honduras and Curaçao.
