You have to look hard and well, because, as the old saying goes, not everything is what it seems.

This supposedly cute little bird will never fly because in reality it has no wings... and it's not a bird either.

This is a Magnolia Liliflora birdie, native to southwestern China, where it has been cultivated for centuries as well as in Japan.

Also, mistakenly, it’s called Japanese Magnolia, because it was from that country that was introduced into Anglo-Saxon countries and has subsequently been naturalized in other regions. This type of magnolia, whose bush does not grow more than 4 meters, which is why it’s considered among the most little.

It has no other uses than ornamentals, carrying beauty on its back, which is sometimes not a small deal.

But if so much beauty alone were too much, precisely with the coming of spring the Lilifloras open its petals, and they no longer look like birds.

Then, just when the environment is most appropriate, not even because of a trick of the eye could someone imagine them flying off.
