Managua, Aug 18 (Prensa Latina) Nicaragua's ship Augusto C. Sandino set sail for Cuba on Thursday with a donation of food from the Government of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) for Cuban families.

According to a press release, the ship left from the Arlen Siu port, in the Autonomous Region of the South Caribbean Coast on Thursday morning, and should dock in the port of Mariel next Monday.

The text highlighted that the merchant ship carries solidarity food for Cuban families with love from the Nicaraguan people.

“Always brothers, always united, always full of Marti, Fidel Castro, Raul Castro, Miguel Diaz-Canel, our Generals Augusto C. Sandino and Zeledon, and all the heroes of Our Great Homeland,” the communiqué concluded.
