Mass Solidarity Campaign with Venezuela Announced

Cuban mass and social organizations, along with civil society in general, have called starting this Wednesday for a nationwide day of solidarity with Venezuela. The initiative supports the Revolutionary Cuban Government’s recent declaration: “It is urgent to prevent a military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.”

The appeal is directed to the entire population, encouraging participation in a signature-gathering process in support of the proclamation. The initiative demonstrates backing for the Bolivarian Revolution, its legitimate president, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the unity of the civilian, military, and police sectors in the face of growing hostilities from the empire, employing all means foreseen in unconventional warfare.

All media outlets, including print and digital press, are publishing the text. To properly organize activities, signature books will be opened in workplaces, educational centers, and communities starting tomorrow. Brief rallies or gatherings will be held at each location, with the participation of leading cadres from the Communist Party of Cuba, government representatives, and mass and social organizations. The campaign will conclude next Tuesday, September 30.

According to the guidelines, signature collection in communities will prioritize housewives, retirees, and non-state sector workers. Participation will also include employees, farmers, high school and university students, combatants, intellectuals and artists, athletes, and others.

In workplaces where representatives of the Venezuelan people are present, they should be invited to attend and speak at rallies or gatherings.

It is important to utilize all media outlets and digital platforms to provide wide coverage of this revolutionary solidarity process—a gesture of dignity in defense of sovereignty against imperialist aggression in the peoples of Latin America—using the hashtag #CubaConVenezuela.

On September 30, the campaign’s conclusion will include mass events, musical performances, and other activities in support of the Venezuelan people.
