Pyongyang, Aug 30 (Prensa Latina) The Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) Foreign Minister Ri Son Gwon congratulated his Cuban peer, Bruno Rodriguez, on the 61st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, official sources informed on Monday.

According to a press release from the Korean Central Telegraph Agency (KCTA), in the text, the DPRK's head of diplomacy extended his steadfast support and solidarity to the fair struggle of the Cuban people to firmly defend the achievements of the Revolution and victoriously carry forward the socialist cause.

The FM also expressed the conviction that the traditional fraternal ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries will be expanded, and developed as always at the heights of the new era.
