especiales

During the opening of those early elections, the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Diana Atamaint, pointed out that along with the vote of persons deprived of liberty, without an enforceable sentence, such mechanism constitutes one of the most inclusive initiatives in the region in electoral matters.
To guarantee its effectiveness, the CNE subscribed a tripartite agreement with the National Council for the Equality of Disabilities and the National Federation of Taxi Transport Operators of Ecuador (FEDOTAXIS).
Atamaint clarified that the agreement allows the mobilization of the members of the Mobile Vote Receiving Boards to those people's houses.
According to data provided by Atamaint, 653 people will vote at home, 323 of them are men and 330 are women, nationwide.
