Cuban duo Buena Fe will soon release a new video of the song "Quien olvido" (Who Forgot) on its YouTube channel, as a tribute to ballet and three exceptional figures of that universe in Cuba.

Prima ballerina assoluta Alicia Alonso, dancer Fernando Alonso, and recently deceased maitre Ramona de Saa, known by friends and admirers as Chery and who directed the National Ballet School for many years, live in the legacy and spirit in the video, featuring the photography of Gabriel Davalos and directed by Leandro de la Rosa.

Davalos told Prensa Latina via WhatsApp that the new video essentially speaks of dance as a function of the evolution of society.

Escaping from the aesthetic beauty of a discipline usually associated with the elite to burst into the people’s everyday life was one of the sensations they wanted to convey, in which the dancers of the prestigious Cuban ballet school overflow art to caress our soul.

“Quien olvido” is one of the tracks of Buena Fe’s latest CD “Morada,” released under the EGREM record label in 2023.

The album reflects the artistic wealth of young people who invite pleasure behind every cultivated harmony.
