President Miguel Díaz-Canel today called on Cubans to continue working and to remain united during the upcoming year of 2026, in which the Caribbean nation will celebrate the 67th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.
Through his account on the social network X, the head of state urged citizens to "Celebrate the lives saved and the impossibilities overcome in 2025. Let us welcome 2026 conscious that by working and united, we grow."
He also emphasized that "the Revolution is one, with its conquests and dissatisfactions, with its joys and its anguish. The most important thing will continue to be #Cuba, and the unity that defines and saves us."
"May every law, every plan, and every budget become tangible actions in people's lives. May science and innovation translate into concrete solutions. May the economy recover its vitality without renouncing social justice," he added.
