Cuban President welcomes Grenada PM Dickon Mitchell

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel welcomed Grenada's Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell who on Thursday arrived in Havana to pay an official visit through April 14.

We hope he feels in our homeland as we feel in Grenada, with which we are celebrating 45 years of diplomatic relations, the Cuban leader posted on X.

According to the Grenadian Government Information Service (GIS), Mitchell’s agenda includes meetings with President Miguel Díaz-Canel and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero.

It is expected that both sides will analyze the progress of bilateral agreements and the signing of nine memorandums of understanding (MoU) on agriculture and fisheries, climate change resilience, infrastructure development, culture and creative cooperation, tourism and sports.
