Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has received a delegation from Vietnam's People's Army, he reported on Twitter.

The military mission has the purpose of making a documentary on 60 years of military relations between the two nations, which will be called “two hearts with the same heartbeat,” Diaz-Canel explained. “This is how we always feel with our Vietnamese brothers,” the President wrote alluding to the title of the future audiovisual.

Relations between the two countries are expanding on several fields, and there have been numerous exchanges of delegations, after the Covid-19 pandemic was put under control.

Vietnam is Cuba’s second largest trading partner in Asia and Oceania; the main investor in the island, of that geographic area; it has important businesses in the Mariel Economic Development Zone, and makes investments in renewable energy sources.
