Cuban president meets with Vietnamese counterpart

Havana, September 19 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel received his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, at the Palace of the Revolution, as part of the activities of his official visit to the Caribbean nation.

The Cuban head of state greeted the members of the delegation accompanying his Asian counterpart, made up of leaders of the Communist Party of that country, ministers of various portfolios and other officials.

Representing Cuba were Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas and the heads of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Public Health and the Central Bank, among other areas.
