The Cuban music industry on Sunday mourned the death of outstanding pianist César Pupi Pedroso, 2013 National Music Award, who passed away at the age of 75.

Pupi Pedroso, founder of the Los Van Van orchestra, contributed to the Songo rhythm emergence, as he bequeathed an in-depth work recognized with dissimilar awards and recognitions.
