Cuban Milaimy de la Caridad Marín today defeated the Bulgarian Yuliana Yaneva and reached the quarterfinals of the 76 kg division in women's freestyle wrestling at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Marín dominated the fight 7-1.
In her next appearance, the Caribbean will face the winner of the fight between the American Kennedy Alexis Blades and the Romanian Catalina Axente.
