Cuban López Ratifies Shines in Brazilian Volleyball

Scoring 15 points, the Cuban Miguel Ángel López confirms today his leading role in the formation of Sada Cruzeiro and keeps the leading positions in the Brazilian Volleyball Super League.

 

The Cuban auxiliary striker returned to action in the South American giant and was the second highest scorer in Cruzeiro's 3-0 victory over Montes Claros America Volei, valid to keep the fifth position in the points per sets department with 167 points in 40 sets.

 

Against Montes Claros, the nicknamed "flying Cuban" added four points in blocking and one ace, in addition to exhibiting 53% in attack and 43% effectiveness in reception, to stand out together with Wallace Souza (17 points) in Cruzeiro's eleventh win against two defeats.

 

After this performance, López appears as the second best server in the Brazilian competition with 18 direct points and appears in the eighth place among the top scorers with 167, to endorse another successful season.

 

The blue team where the Cuban international plays is second in the Super League behind the Fiat / Gerdau / Minas team (11-0) and his next match will be next Thursday against Vôlei Renata as part of the 2022 Brazil Cup.

 

López shows the title, and the MVP award in the Club World Cup this season and at a domestic level he monopolizes the golden scepters in the Super Cup and the Mineiro Championship.
