Cuba, Zimbabwe to strengthen bilateral relations
especiales

Havana, Mar 8 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and Zimbabwean Ambassador Ignatius Graham Mudzimba on Tuesday expressed their support for strengthening political relations and cooperation in different sectors of mutual interest.
Both nations keep brotherly and historic diplomatic relations, which reach 43 years on April 20, characterized permanently by mutual support and respect.
At present, young Zimbabweans are studying medicine in Cuba, while health specialists from Cuba are serving in the African nation.
The Republic of Zimbabwe has always maintained a firm position against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba. Likewise, Cuba has repeatedly condemned the imposition of unilateral sanctions against that African country by Washington and the European Union.
