Cuba reported 32 new Covid-19 cases

Havana, Sep 9 (Prensa Latina) The Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) on Friday reported 32 new Covid-19 cases, totaling 1,110,840 contagions since the outbreak of the pandemic in Cuba in March 2020.

According to the MINSAP website, 118 of 119 active cases nationwide are clinically stable, while one is seriously ill and is being treated at an intensive care unit.

At a press briefing on television, MINSAP added that 32 patients were discharged from hospitals, so the total number of recovered patients rose to 1,102,132.

It added that 211 patients are in hospitals or at home nationwide, 92 of whom are suspected cases.

According to the official report, no deaths have been reported as a result of the disease in the last 24 hours, so the death toll remains at 8,530.
