Havana, Jul 11 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez on Monday rejected statements from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken regarding the July 11 insurrection in Cuba.

In a message posted on Twitter, the Cuban foreign minister said Blinken´s statements confirmed the US government´s involvement in the attempt to subvert order and peace in Cuba.

Bruno Rodríguez had previously added on Twitter that both US government and State Department sought to discredit Cuba’s popular triumph over imperialist aggression following the failure to prompt an insurrection.

In recent days, that US State Department issued several statements Cuban officials described as interfering, in addition to announcing visa restrictions for more than 20 Cuba´s government representatives.

The Cuban government knew that various causes merged from the July 11 riots, including the country’s economic and health situation, but it also revealed some evidence that showed a communication operation orchestrating in the United States to bring about a soft coup.
