Madrid, Mar 5 (Prensa Latina) The right back Angel Jesus Rivero will represent Cuban handball in the Copa del Rey of Spain this weekend at the WiZink Center of this capital, the organizers announced today.
 
Rivero has 38 goals in 14 league games this season, valid to contribute to Benidorm's presence in the final phase of the Cup, thanks to a balance of 10 wins, four ties and eight losses.

Aged 28, the Cuban international takes advantage of the minutes on the court to improve his technical-tactical performance and in exclusive statements to Prensa Latina via Whatsapp valued the opportunities received in the set since his arrival in 2016.

With a view to the Cup tournament, the Antillean handball player acknowledged the high level of the teams, although he made clear Benidorm's purpose of fighting for a place in the final of a fair, which will allow in the Wizink Center up to a maximum of 1,500 spectators.

According to what Rivero told to Prensa Latina, the sensations of competing again with fans in the stands is something special and very motivating in difficult times due to the health crisis of the Covid-19.

Benidorm handball team will start its way through the Cup against its similar Bidosoa Irún, second place in the Honor Division, and if it wins, it will face in the semifinals the winner of the clash between Abanca Ademar Leon and Bada Huesca.
