Cuba to host International University Congress 2022

Havana, January 24 (RHC)-- The 13th International Congress 'University 2022' will be held from February 7 to 11 at the Havana Convention Center with the theme "University and Innovation for a Sustainable and Inclusive Development."

Miriam Alpízar Santana, deputy minister of Higher Education, informed on Monday at a press conference that academics, professors, students, and personalities from 23 countries will attend the congress., both in person and virtually.

Among the main activities of the scientific program are several forums, which will deal with topics such as "University and local sustainable development" and "Higher education and COVID-19".

The call for the event highlights the vocation of these spaces for dialogue and reflection, aimed at identifying the commitment of university institutions to their time, which will be a key element in the development of the region.
