Cuba to host ¨A Bridge to Havana¨ Festival

Dedicated to the Cuban capital as a Creative City of Music, the "Un Puente hacia La Habana" (A Bridge to Havana) International Festival will take place from April 26 to 28, the official note of the event stressed on Thursday.

In this new edition, outstanding Cuban artists, including Los Van Van, Waldo Mendoza, Karamba, Buena Fe, and Havana D’Primera, will perform with international musicians from Holland, Spain, and Colombia on the stage at Havana’s Jose Antonio Echeverria 500 Club.

Such a space will open its doors on Friday and Saturday with the participation of prestigious groups every evening. The closing concert will be held at the Monaco Cultural Center in Diez de Octubre municipality.

Cuba’s state-owned record company EGREM, with the collaboration of MUSICuba agency, 360 Producciones, and the Plaza de la Revolución Municipal Management, entities closely linked to the Festival, among other institutions, will sponsor the Festival.

Founded in 2008 in the Spanish city of Zaragoza, “Un Puente hacia La Habana” is a musical platform that promotes cultural exchange between Cuba and other nations globally.
