Cuba to debut in Pan American Archery Championship

The Cuban roster will be completed by Alejandro Ariel Hernandez, who will try to win the first Cuban archery quota in the history of the Paralympic movement.
According to the competition program, the first three places in each gender will get the ticket to Tokyo 2020 and archers from the same nation will not be able to repeat and those who are assured by groups will not be allowed to do so.
The Monterrey archery competition brings together competitors from national federations of Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Mexico, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Venezuela.
So far, archers from Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Mexico and the United States have secured quotas for Tokyo 2020 and the final qualifying tournament will be held in Paris next June.
