Luanda, September 15 (RHC)-- The Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa, attended Thursday's inauguration ceremony of Angola's reelected president, João Lourenço.

Lourenço was inaugurated for a second five-year term after winning the August 24 elections in a colorful ceremony with the international community's support.

The director of Europe and Canada of the Foreign Ministry, Gisela Garcia, and the ambassador in Luanda, Esther Armenteros, are also part of the island's delegation.
