Cuba and Italy Unite Through Musical Performance

Cuba and Italy came together today with a musical performance at the National Monument, Sauto Theater, featuring singer and multi-instrumentalist Lavinia Mancusi and accordionist Mauro Menegazzi.

The event, part of the Italian Culture Week program, was attended at the Matanzas venue by the European country's ambassador, Simona De Martino.

De Martino expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and the opportunity to be in a building that stands as a testament to Italy's global footprint, designed by architect Daniel Dall'e Aglio.

"Matanzas has become a key enclave for relations between Cuba and Italy," stated the senior official.

Dedicated to the culture of that Southern European region, the event arrives for the second consecutive time in the City of Bridges, aiming to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
