Cristina Kirchner Launches Sharp Attack Against Javier Milei: "The Libertarian Experiment Has Failed"

In the countdown to the legislative elections this Sunday, Cristina Kirchner released a message on social media in which she strongly criticized the government of Javier Milei and warned about the severity of the political and economic situation.
“The libertarian experiment has failed, and everyone knows it,” the former president stated in an audio published on X. “This coming Sunday, October 26th, we have a decisive appointment and a great democratic opportunity, because we are not only choosing deputies and senators. The vote of each one of you can set a limit to the misgovernment of Milei, the permanent austerity imposed on the most vulnerable sectors, the surrender of national sovereignty, and the punishment of those who live off their work or worked their entire lives,” she said.
Cristina Kirchner described a severe social and economic deterioration: “People can't make ends meet, they have to go into debt to pay for electricity, buy food, or medicine, while the winners of this model siphon off the enormous profits they made from financial speculation.”
The Reference to Trump
To reinforce her diagnosis, she cited recent statements by former U.S. President Donald Trump. “If anyone still has doubts about the failure, it is enough to listen to the words of Milei's main supporter and, in practice, his campaign chief. Trump said very clearly: 'The Argentines have no money, they are struggling hard to survive.' The reality is so stark that it can be heard and seen from the United States,” she expressed.
The former president also criticized the Government's foreign policy and its dependence on international support. “Milei tirelessly repeated that his was the best government in history, with the most successful economic plan, but he ended up begging for a bailout in the United States. A bailout that has nothing of a solution and everything of a humiliation,” she argued.
Furthermore, she underscored the need to “defend national autonomy.” “Argentina is a country too large and dignified to depend on the mood of a foreign president. Argentine sovereignty is not negotiable; it belongs to its people,” she affirmed.
