A concert hall in Moscow target of a terrorist attack

The preliminary toll of the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Moscow stands at 40 dead and more than 140 wounded, following a shooting and firebombing; the facility is burning, Sputnik news agency reported.

According to eyewitnesses, the masked men burst into the concert hall and opened fire with automatic weapons, then threw a grenade or firebomb, setting off a fire.

Other reports indicate that the attackers started shooting at the line of people at the entrance of the building and then continued firing inside.

The official number of casualties is unknown at this time. Meanwhile, reports are spreading that at least 40 people died and 140 are wounded.

In addition, it was learned that there are still people inside the burning building of the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region.

The roof of the building is almost completely engulfed in flames, a partial collapse is taking place. A column of black smoke can be seen over the site.

Almost all operational services have arrived there, including dozens of ambulances. The evacuation continues.
