Swedish and Norwegian Films To Be Screened in Cuba

Successful feature and short films are included in the contemporary Norwegian and Swedish film festival, which will be screened at the International Festival of Video-art of Camaguey (FIVAC), from April 7th to 10th, said coordinator of the event Diana Rosa Perez.

On her Facebook account with the tag CineNorSueRecorreCuba, Perez, also Fivac producer, said that the films will be later screened at movie theaters in Las Tunas city (from April 12th to 15th), Bayamo (from April 21st to 24th) and Holguin (from April 28th to 30th).

Cultural attaché of the Swedish embassy in Havana Mayralina Trespado Rams told the Prensa Latina news agency that for the first time, the embassies of Sweden and Norway organize a joint program of films in Cuba.

This festival was outlined by the two embassies, the Film Archive of Cuba and the Institute of Film Art and Industry.

Amid the films are the Cuban premieres of "The Grandfather who jumped out of the window", "Pioneers", "Hotel", "The Ice dragon" and "The goalkeeper of Liverpool".
