World’s first underwater Airbnb lets visitors sleep with sharks (VIDEO)

Not for the faint-hearted, the sharkbait bedroom at Aquarium de Paris is submerged in 3 million liters of water and surrounded by a 360-degree transparent wall, giving guests the full ‘shark experience’.

Even better, you can stay for free. But as with most fish-related adventures, there’s a catch. The accommodation company is running a competition to let two guests spend one night from April 11-13.
Airbnb will fly the winners to Paris for the “once-in-a-lifetime” experience, where guests can enjoy a private tour of the aquarium along with a romantic meal – with no word on whether they will be serving fish.

Hopefuls who want to enter the competition must submit a 50-550 word essay on why they deserve to sleep with the sharks, and must do so by April 3. Seems like a lot of work for something that will scar you for life.
House rules include: No selfies after dark (sharks don’t like the flash), no diving and no watching Jaws before the sleepover. Not even kidding.
