“It will be a competition where Mexicans will try to avenge the loss against Pinar del Rio in the last edition of the tournament. The other teams will also try to beat us. But we are going to play hard to maintain the winning culture.”

Cuba will debut against the Mexican team, which is supposed to be the champion of the Pacific League that is still in play, as it happens with that of Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Venezuela.

Machado also commented that “our goal is the same Pinar del Rio had: winning. However, we should still focus on the national baseball series”.

Cuba will not play on day 1. And Ciego de Avila will debut at 15:50 on February 2nd, and 4th while on February 3rd and 5th our team will play at 19:50.
