The anti-aircraft defense in the Russian city of Feodosia, in Crimea, shot down a missile launched from Ukrainian territory, Governor Sergei Aksionov said on Saturday.

The official said on his Telegram channel that although the remains of the missile hit a region in the city, there were no victims or significant damage to be regretted.

In recent weeks, Ukraine has repeatedly tried to attack Crimea’s infrastructure with drones.

On March 21, the remains of a projectile fell in the north of the peninsula, leaving several houses, a store, a warehouse and the buildings of a technical school damaged, as well as a man injured.

The adviser to the Crimean chief, Oleg Kryuchkov, said the attack was aimed at civilian facilities, as there were no military personnel nearby.

On March 22, surface drones attempted to penetrate the Sevastopol Bay, but the Russian Black Sea Fleet repelled the attack. In addition, Russian units shot down a drone near Simferopol on March 29. The device fell in a field and did not cause human or material damage.
