Russian Army occupies Zaporozhie settlement in Donetsk

The Russian Armed Forces occupied the locality of Zaporozhie located in the Donetsk People's Republic, the Defense Ministry reported here today.
 
 
The report describes that the units of the Center group of troops entered the locality of Zaporozhie in Donetsk, after successful offensive actions.

The press release clarified that the locality taken bears the same name as the city of Zaporozhie, capital of the homonymous province, which since September 2022, after a referendum, decided to join the Russian Federation.

The Defense Ministry further stressed that Russian units defeated 10 Ukrainian brigades, a regiment and a battalion in several directions of Donetsk.
