National Center of Concert Music presents its proposals

Among the proposals presented this week by the National Center of Concert Music, the public will be able to enjoy today at the Argeliers Leon Hall the performance of the Habana Brass Quintet, conducted by maestro Igor Corcuera.

As part of the project “Concert Music, closer to You”, the group will perform at 4:00 p.m. local time this day a group of pieces from its vast musical repertory, archived in more than 300 original works and transcriptions.

This group had its first public performance on July 3, 2015, and its work covers a wide range of styles, from early music to the present day.

Every week the Centro Nacional de Música de Concierto gives the public of this capital city a program of music distributed in several halls, such as the Teatro Lírico, the Museo de Artes Decorativas, the Ignacio Cervantes Hall, and a group of institutions and conservatories for the enjoyment of these classical genres.
