Cubans abroad demand the end of the U.S. blockade

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 21 (ACN) The Meeting of Cuban Residents in Europe (ECRE) Berlin-2022 condemned on Sunday the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against the island and demanded the end of that policy and all aggressions.

In the final declaration of the three-day forum, which culminated with an act of solidarity at the emblematic Brandenburg Gate, the participants ratified their commitment to the frontal struggle against the siege imposed by Washington for more than 60 years, a policy they described as illegal and criminal.

From Buenos Aires, Prensa Latina news agency reported that around 150 delegates from 15 provinces are participating today in the XVII National Meeting of the Argentine Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, during which they reiterated their support for the Caribbean island and their condemnation of U.S. aggressions.

The meeting takes place in the amphitheater of the State Workers Association in the Argentine capital, after two years of interruption of the face-to-face meetings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event is attended by members of the Cuba Friendship Houses from several territories of this country, Cubans residing here and graduates from universities in the Caribbean nation.

Prensa Latina news agency, in a dispatch dated Caracas, informed that the final declaration of the XII National Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba called today to maintain the permanent mobilization in defense of the Cuban Revolution and Venezuela against the aggressors who intend to put an end to them.

The text read at the closing of the meeting, which for two days hosted around 90 Venezuelan, Cuban, Colombian and Brazilian delegates, denounced that the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba "is a genocidal action".
