Cuba reports 82.7% Covid-19 recovery rate

Cuba reported on Sunday 65 new cases of Covid-19 for a grand total of 3.682; there are 523 active patients, 20 of them in ICUs, while 38 were discharged in the last hours improving the recovery rate to 82.7%.
Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Francisco Duran told the nation in his morning press briefing that two senior ladies had passed away on Saturday bringing the death toll to 91, equivalent to a 2.44% mortality rate.
Among the new 65 new cases, from 4.867 tests done, there are 2 babies under 1 year, Dr. Duran pointed out, urging the population to be more careful with the young and the children.
Of the total 3.682 positive cases, since the onset of the epidemics in Cuba in early March, 1.832 are women (49.9%) and 1.850 men (50.2%).
