Cuba reports 62 new Covid-19 cases and no deaths

Havana, Dec 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuba on Wednesday reported 62 new Covid-19 cases and no deaths in the last 24 hours, showing a more controlled epidemiological scenario.

According to data posted on the website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), on Tuesday, 2,681 patients remain in hospitals or homes nationwide, 2,053 of which are Covid-19 suspects and 319 are under surveillance.

To date, 309 active cases are in hospitals, 296 of them are clinically stable, five are in a critical condition and eight are seriously ill.

With these data, Cuba has accumulated 963,813 contagions since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic on March 11, 2020.

On Tuesday, no one died due to Covid-19 and the death toll remains at 8,313.
