Cuba reports 1,060 new cases of Covid-19, seven deaths

Havana, May 6 (RHC) --The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported on Thursday 1,060 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19.
In a press conference, the national director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, said that seven people died due to this pandemic.
Currently, 5,448 patients with the disease are admitted to hospitals in the Caribbean country.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 totals 701, and 112 714 have contracted the disease since March last year.
