The Colombian Movement of Solidarity with Cuba (MCSC) is preparing the details to celebrate its 32nd Meeting focused on the struggle against the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba more than 60 years ago.

The meeting will take place on November 1,2 and 3 at the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia (UPTC) in the city of Tunja, in the department of Boyacá, some 151 kilometers north of this capital.

According to the program, the meeting will feature experts who will analyze, among other topics, the current state of sports, tourism, the Cuban economic model and the disinformation and media war against Cuba.

Among other activities, and prior to the meeting, Colombian doctors, graduates of the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM), will hold a discussion on health in Cuba, in Paipa.

The event will be attended by the pro tempore president of the MCSC, Luis Bernardo Díaz; the Cuban ambassador to Colombia, Javier Caamaño; members of the Cuban state mission, as well as academics and representatives of the various Houses of Solidarity that make up this group.

The 32nd edition of this meeting of friends of Cuba and of the revolutionary process on the island that took place with the triumph of 1959 under the leadership of Fidel Castro will be held in the form of lectures, both in person and virtually, talks and other modalities.

The MCSC maintains the permanent struggle against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed arbitrarily and unilaterally by the United States on Cuba, considering that this criminal measure seeks to destroy the Revolution by forcing the Cuban people to suffer shortages of all kinds and prevent its development.
