Dr. Fidel Castro Diaz-Balart fulfilled a wide agenda and visited and exchanged with academic and scientific research centers in the context of the 9th meeting of high-level Representatives of member states of the Institute for Nuclear Researches held in Krakow. His goal was to analyze the possibilities of a bilateral collaboration with Cuba, essentially in the high technology field.

Dr. Fidel Castro held talks with the presidency of the Science Academy, the heads of the Research and Development Center and the Poland´s Biotech and Antibiotic Institute.

The conversational partners showed interest in fostering cooperation and exchange with Research and Innovative centers in our country. Dr. Fidel Castro also described the scientific development reached during the Cuban Revolution, promoted by its historical leader Fidel Castro Ruz, which have placed Cuba among the best in the biotech field, impacting high on health.

He was also welcomed by Mr. Robert Grey, deputy secretary of the Poland´s Foreign Affairs Ministry. Mr. Grey talked about the opportunity opened to the development of a scientific collaboration, field where both countries gather enough experience and boast important results.
